Roxanne was doing intensive research on legal statutes and civil appeals, writing briefs for her bosses at a law firm in downtown Austin, Texas. Yet she found herself bored.

My book is more than just an account of the prayers I prayed leading up to being chosen for the show and during the times on the balcony and in the boardroom. It is my journal turned into conversations with God, becoming a fervent prayer. It is my affirmation of the goodness of God, the love and support of family and friends, and the remarkable everyday surprises of faith.
